Kris Kringle Secret Santa Games

With the rise in the popularity of Kris Kringle, the way the game is played has also changed. So we’ve put together a list some of our favourite Secret Santa games.

Shopping for mum? You’ve come to the right place. Check out our best-selling TraVino wine sippy cup – she’ll never have to cry over spilt wine again. If wine’s not mum’s thing, no worries, we have a huge range of presents, whether it’s homewares, kitchen gadgets or something a little bit different.

Dirty Santa / Yankee Swap / White Elephant

This would have to be our pick of the bunch. It’s the most raucous of all the Kris Kringle games. Everyone brings a wrapped gift worth $xx and puts it in a pile in the centre of the room. Each participant draws a number and the person who picks number 1 picks the first present. They then unwrap it and show everyone. The next person (number 2) picks a present and can either unwrap it and keep it, or leave it wrapped and swap it with an already unwrapped gift. The game ends when everyone has had a turn and has a gift. If a gift is stolen from you, you cannot steal it back, but have to pick a gift from the original pile and play goes to the next person.

Kris Kringle Holiday Trivia

If your group are nuts about trivia then this twist on the traditional Secret Santa game is for you. Everyone brings a wrapped gift and puts it on the table. The organiser has a list of holiday trivia questions, for example, ‘what was given on the third day of Christmas?’ and the first person to correctly answer the question gets to choose a gift.
